Petlifetoday.com estimates that over 69.36 billion dollars will be spent on pet care in the United States during 2020. That translates into a lot of competition to provide pet care services.

Individual businesses place a catchy phrase or cute saying on the sign out front to call attention to their establishment.

One of these businesses is the Carroll County Veterinary Clinic in Westminster, Maryland.

Their sign has featured bits of wisdom such as “If the earth was flat cats would push everything off it” and “Bathing cats is a martial art.” The Carroll County vet clinic also shared the observations that “Cats spend half their life asleep and half making viral videos.”

and “Cats ears are designed to let the human voice go in one ear and out the other.”

The Acton Animal Hospital in Granbury, TX, asked passersby, “If you don’t talk to your cat about catnip who will?” The folks at the Acton Animal Hospital in Acton must be Star Wars fans because they have also wished everyone will “Live Long and Pawsper.”

The people at the Holly Ridge Veterinary Hospital in Holly Ridge, NC, also put some creative sayings on their sign. “If cats could text you back, they wouldn’t” and “What do you call a pile of cats? A meowtain.”

We also learned what cats think about human grooming habits with “Cat thoughts, my human rarely ever licks himself. That’s Nasty Bruh” The people at Holly Ridge also shared this piece of wisdom. “In ancient times, cats were worshipped as gods. They have not forgotten.”

The Petaluma Veterinarian Hospital in Petaluma CA uses its sign to explain cat behaviors. “A cat tantrum is called a ‘Hissy Fit.'” The sign also extols the benefits of having a cat.

“Petting a cat will leave you feline good” Cats are bossy, illustrated by Petaluma’s sign banter “Don’t tell me what to do, you are not my cat!”

It’s quite evident the signwriters at Frontier Veterinary Hospital possess a sense of humor. Their sign has featured sayings, including “Never feed your cat anything that clashes with the carpet.” The folks at Frontier appreciate a great cat joke. “Why does your cat sit on your laptop?

She’s helping you purrrrcrastinate.” is one. They have also shared, “Why don’t cats play in the jungle? Too many Cheetahs.” A series of books with a cat living in a magical boarding school would center around the main character, “Hairy Pawter.”

Frontier Veterinary also advises, “Not feline well? Maybe you need to contact a Purramedic.” Other places get in on the fun too. One pet clinic’s sign declared, “Cat puns freak meowt.

Seriously, I’m not kitten.” The Highland Road Animal Hospital in Baton Rouge LA asks, “What is a cat’s favorite color? Purrrrple.” Of course, purrrrple, of course.

Hopefully, these jokes and puns have you feline creative so that you can write some cat puns of your own.
