We are usually encouraged to trust our instincts even though, at times, it might seem like paranoia, and we end up ignoring the whole situation altogether. At times, those feelings end up materializing into something that has an impact on us as well as the people around us. This leaves us with a sense of guilt for not doing anything about it, and we are left blaming each other. A mother in New Jersey with three children woke up one odd morning, and when she felt something was definitely not right, she decided to do something about it and does not regret it.

Koeberlie Bull, who has two interracial children, had an experience on Wednesday that left her no option but to call the authorities. When she got on her Facebook account, she found an alarming message that had been sent to her. A Caucasian male aged twenty years named Dylan Jarrel sent her a message that seemed threatening to her children and other students in their school as well. Dylan used racist terms in his message to refer to her children. The entire message was generally a threat filled with insults. The mother got even more scared when she noticed Dylan was casually posing with a firearm on his profile picture. Koeberlie Bull sought help from the police but did not feel they would take action because she only had the message as her only evidence. In the message, Daryl did not necessarily say a word about attacking the school, but she had a feeling that he would attack the school. The scared mother took a screenshot and later shared it on Facebook with her friends. Dylan blocked Bull on Facebook, so the mother was not able to get any additional information about him. Her friends took it upon herself to help her and gathered sufficient details about Dylan. This information was forwarded to the police by Bull and was taken seriously. The policeman she spoke to told her the world had no room for such hatred and assured the mother that justice would be served.

Both local and state police departments began working on the investigation. They went to his residence the following day to find him trying to leave his home. When the officers approached Dylan, they were more than surprised to catch Dylan armed from head to toe with an excess of two hundred ammunition rounds. Dylan also had a firearm, a bullet-proof vest, and sufficient evidence that revealed his entire plan. He had planned to go to two counties and execute a school shooting in both. After further investigation, the officers discovered that Dylan had been looking up ways to execute a school shooting. Dylan was also interrogated by the FBI previously concerning his posts on Facebook that was an indication of his plan. Dylan was immediately arrested and is awaiting his trial. The parents and school faculty reached out to the mother and thanked her for her heroics that saved many lives. It would have been an absolute disaster had she not trusted her instincts.
