When it comes to identical twins, people often see and focus on their similarities and ignore their differences. They are different people but will always have a special bond that amazes people. The similarities can be so eerie that people do not believe they are merely coincidences, and these twin sisters are a prime example. The twin sisters by the names of Bao Kou Julie Yang and Bao Nhia Julia Yang were both pregnant at the age of twenty-three, and they both sadly suffered from miscarriages. This bonded them together because of their pain, but it is not the ultimate thing that bonded them. They both conceived another child, and these rainbow babies are extremely special to the mothers. They not only both fully conceived their children, but they did it at the same time as each other and at the same hospital.

The twins interviewed with People magazine and told them all about what happened the day they went to the hospital. They were both there to check in a week early. “We both weren’t expecting this, to say the very least. I was definitely in shock, but I was happy for the both of us. It’s really a miracle,” Bau Kou stated. This is so eerie it is hard to believe it is a conscience. Both of them had conceived and lost one baby previously, and then they both conceived again and had their child at the same hospital at the same time. The greatest thing about this rare moment is they had each other to lean on during this emotional point in their life.

“My sister and I went through miscarriages together and that definitely brought us closer,” Bao Kou told the People. “Being able to see her, being able to have her be there and keeping me together after our miscarriages were something that was very important to me.” They had grown closer to each other because of the hardships they suffered at the same time. Bao Kou explained that they felt love and care for each other while they were both going through their miscarriages. They became closer and helped each other through it all. Even with their hardships they went through, they now both have their very own daughter that seems to have a tight bond even though they are just cousins. Bao Keou told People that that the babies sleep at the same time and even cry at the same time. Both mothers are not discouraging this bond but actually helping it grow stronger. This rare and special moment was even enjoyed by the staff of the hospital where the babies were born, Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno. The hospital shared a picture of both mothers with their babies on its Facebook with the caption: “Yes, you are seeing double! These twins gave birth to baby girls only two hours apart. Welcome to the world Baby Nadalie (purple) and Baby Candra (pink)!”
